We’re changing the way we do things.

Galloway Writers’ Room is produced by the team behind Wigtown Book Festival, which also runs a number of year-round projects and events across the region. We’re streamlining our platforms to make the best use of our current resources  and while we don’t currently have the capacity to keep the Galloway Writers’ Room networks and listings up to date, we’re still keen to keep in touch.

We’ve started a brand new Writers’ Room online newsletter. To begin with, we’ll simply keep you up to date about our writing competitions, opportunities and events. Hopefully in future, we’ll be able to expand our online writing community again. Sign up to the Writers’ Room newsletter to receive updates from the Wigtown Festival Team and if you’re a local writing group or book group, or if you would like to advertise a relevant opportunity, we would love to send your message out, free of charge, through the Writers’ Room network.
