ABOUT THE SPEAKERS/TUTORS:
Margaret Elphinstone has published nine novels, and is now working on a book of essays on the theme of reconnections. She is Emeritus Professor at Strathclyde University, where she taught literature and writing. She has practised meditation and mindfulness for many years. She lives in Galloway.
Lockerbie Writers are an enthusiastic and friendly group, open to new members of all abilities. They run regular writing events including spoken word nights and an annual children’s writing competition in collaboration with Castle Loch, and are working on their second anthology.
