CREATE A SHORT STORY FROM SCRATCH IN ONE DAY!
Always wanted to try creative writing, but not sure where to begin?
Written in the past, at school or work, but want to try something more creative?
Or are you an experienced writer looking for inspiration or to meet other local writers?
This June, join experienced and published writers Kerrie McKinnel and Steph Newham for this one-day workshop in historic Shambellie House.
In this relaxed and welcoming workshop, you will be guided through the process of creating your own short story – from first ideas through to a completed piece. But don’t panic! We’ll be using a mixture of games and straightforward writing prompts to get our brains moving – trust us, you’ll barely even realise you’re writing a story until you’re halfway there!
Everyone is welcome, from beginners and nervous writers through to more experienced writers who are looking for inspiration and to network. This will be a practical and engaging day, in an atmospheric and unique venue.
DATE: Saturday 1st June 2019, 10am – 4.30pm.
TICKETS: £25 per person. Includes tea/coffee and a donation towards Shambellie House Trust (Company reg no. 507404 and charitable status SC024140). Booking fee may apply. Please bring a packed lunch.
