Galloway-based writer, Karen Campbell, will be joining the line-up for this year’s Writers’ Gathering D&G, offering an extra afternoon workshop option on the topic of ‘Make Writing Your Business’.
Karen brings with her a wealth of writing experience, having written both crime thrillers and contemporary fiction and having taught creative writing and offered mentoring to writers for a number of years. Karen’s next book, The Sound of the Hours, this time a historical novel set in Tuscany during WW2, is published this coming July.
The Writers’ Gathering D&G is Wigtown Festival Company’s annual day conference for regional writers, led by a mix of successful writers and leading industry professionals to deliver a balance of inspirational and skill-specific sessions, including workshops, seminars and one-to-ones.
