Making a children’s picture book about geopolitical phenomena was a new departure for Kate Milner and for Barrington Stoke, the publisher. Kate will show how the book evolved from early versions of artwork through her discussions with publishers. What questions were asked and what answers were found? Kate will discuss the market for the book and the way it is now being used, as well as showing the audience how the artwork was created. Featuring original drawings and sketchbooks to show how the images evolved.
