DGU works with, and provides a voice for, Dumfries & Galloway’s creative sector. DGU champions and advocates the vital role creative practitioners and organisations play in contributing to the well being of our communities and economy.
The DGU Board is now looking to recruit a new trustee with a range of skills to support the organisation to grow and develop further. If you are passionate about the artistic and creative life of Dumfries & Galloway, if you are looking for a new role within the voluntary sector, then they’d love to hear from you.
They are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Finance, accounting
- Management, administration
- Grant writing, fundraising
- Governance
- Events management
- Nonprofit experience
- PR, communication
- Knowledge of the arts sector in D&G
- Contacts and networking
The board of trustees meets approximately every 8 weeks in venues around the region.
Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
